The Wollombi Valley Wine Trail was established to promote the re-emerging boutique vineyards along the Wollombi Brook, which follows part of the Great North Road built by convicts in the early 19th century. The vineyards along the wine trail are small, boutique operations run by owner operators. You will be more than welcome at any of the cellar doors.

Each Spring the Wollombi Valley Wine Trail vineyards play host to Sculpture in the Vineyards, when the rows of grapes provide the perfect backdrop for outdoor sculptures of all forms.

Wollombi is a peaceful, picturesque village located at the southern gateway to Hunter Valley Wine County, surrounded by National Parks. The relaxing atmosphere hides a wealth of activities and attractions. The valley is rich in colonial history.
